Rather than a series or a movie, I would recommend more of a documentary, which no doubt to anyone who brings up the topic of conversation I would tell them to watch ''Fantastic Fungi'', which as you might deduce, is about nature, more specifically fungi, from those that absorb oil spills to the subway fungal networks that facilitate communication between trees. The director of this documentary is Louie Schwartzberg and very briefly, the documentary is a descriptive journey into the amazing, mysterious and medicinal world of mushrooms and their power to heal, sustain and contribute to the regeneration of life on earth. In addition, we get to see the unlimited potential of mushrooms in the fields of food, medicine, consciousness expansion, neurogenesis and the treatment of anxiety in terminally ill patients.
